We're sure you've had a ton of fun playing out Rai and Lorraine with our print and play, and now it's time to add a new character to the fray! Officially meet Silvie, a sweet and free-spirited child who has the uncanny power to make almost anyone her friend. With her charm, she can tame animals and beasts, great and small. She can make her companions stronger and, in time, they will repay her for her kindness by protecting her.
As a Tamer, Silvie primarily uses the balance of her levels and the Pride of her allies as a core mechanic. As you've previously seen from other beasts, some allies have a Pride that denotes what level your champion has to be to have those allies obey them — If your champion's level is too low, those allies will not attack, intercept, or retaliate for you! Tamers have access to powerful allies that can turn the tide of the game to your favor, but have high pride stats to compensate. As part of the Tamer package, multiple Regalia allow you to amplify Silvie's level to tame the hearts of your beast allies. Silvie can also use other Tamer allies to increase her level and help with taming! Tamers can also unlock the hidden potential of certain beasts and make them far more menacing. One of the other mechanics associated with Tamer is Buff counters that will permanently empower allies who have them!
At Level 3, Silvie can unlock the Tera element, one of the advanced elements in Grand Archive. Tera reflects the relentless force of nature — and the wrath it carries. A core mechanic of Tera, the Preserve keyword showcases how unstoppable your cards are. Instead of going to the graveyard, cards with this keyword are preserved in your material deck; when you materialize, you can instead just add a card with Preserve from that deck right to your hand! It will be difficult for any player to continue playing a long game against a Tera player who has the power to persevere and consistently accrue value.
Among the tools Silvie has at her disposal, she can make use of her Beastbond costume to empower herself or the creatures she befriends. Adept at playing the flute, she can use her Flute of Taming to better charm prideful beasties. Later, at Level 3, she can sound the Horn of Beastcalling to call forth the mightiest beings of all!
We are releasing an early preview set for Silvie to the Index! This set will be available to use with the site's print and play feature. The set includes a suite of cards for both Wind and Fire Silvie in addition to a selection of Tera cards. We will remove this set later, before the full release of Dawn of Ashes.
Will you attune to Fire and let the direwolves of Varuck run amok? Or will you be invigorating devastating apes with a second wind? Additionally, there will be a couple of regalia released for Rai and Lorraine players to make use of as well!
