The Release Date Policy applies to all product releases with an official release date. The policy details what stores can or cannot do regarding the product before and after the release date.

Last Updated: January 16th, 2024

The Policy

  • Stores are not allowed to release product in person to customers before the release date, local time.
  • If a product needs to be shipped, the expected delivery date needs to be at most 1 day before the release date.
  • Stores are allowed to open product before the release date for inventory purposes.
  • Stores are allowed to sell pre-orders for the product and the contents of the product before the release date.
  • Stores are allowed to take pictures/videos of the opening of sealed product for promotional purposes starting one week before the release date. For instance, for ALC releasing on January 26th, promotional media can be uploaded and shared on the January 19th, local time.
  • Stores are NOT allowed to stream the opening of product on livestream selling platforms such as Whatnot, Drip, and TikTok (if selling) before the release date.

  • Exception to this policy may be provided by Weebs of the Shore.

    Breach of Policy

If a store is found to be breaching this Release Date Policy, we will first attempt to make contact with the store to provide a warning and to correct the situation. A store breaching the policy after being provided a warning may result in having that store blacklisted, preventing them from buying future Grand Archive products from their distributors.

To report a store breaching this policy, please email [email protected].
