What an incredible experience this weekend! First off, thank you to all of the willing volunteers who helped to set up the booth, run demos, and help make our booth at Anime Expo an absolute success! It was such an amazing opportunity to get to meet so many Kickstarter backers, Grand Archive supporters, and members of the discord, not to mention the thousands of new faces and players who got to demo and learn about the game at Anime Expo!
To sum up the booth experience, each day we had thousands of people stop by our booth to check us out, with hundreds of demos being run. Quite a few enthusiastic players took it on themselves to build their own constructed decks with the proxy cards we provided and challenge each other or even a dev to a duel!
Now to talk promos. In total, we gave out around 2800 Honorable Vanguard non-foil and 400 foil promotional cards. As mentioned before, this version of Honorable Vanguard is an Anime Expo exclusive promotional card, so the rest of the cards printed will be destroyed and the population will be locked. For our Bubble Mage summer promotional card, we gave out around 480 non-foil and 60 foil promotional cards. We will continue to give these out over the course of the summer at other events. Our store promotional Dungeon Guide card will also continue to be available as supplies last!
As we see more and more Grand Archive items being listed for sale recently on sites like eBay, the team would like to give a caveat to those considering buying. Please check the listing carefully before buying:
1. If you are buying decks, make sure you are getting the full deck and not just the card the listing has images of.
2. If you are buying sample cards, make sure you are buying the correct iteration that is listed. Some of these sellers may not know the difference between the different samples and it would be best to determine it from the pictures on the listing yourself.
3. We printed cards without backs for demo purposes at AX. These are being listed on eBay. Please note that anyone can easily print this quality of card with their home printer. This item was never meant to be sold.
